Sunflower Cleaning Policy's

 

1. Client Requirements and Responsibilities

a. Access to Property
Clients must provide access to the property on the scheduled cleaning day. This includes keys, security codes, or making sure someone is present at the property to allow entry. If access cannot be provided, the cleaning will be considered a cancellation, and cancellation fees will apply (see Section 3).

b. Home Preparation
Clients are expected to remove any personal belongings, clutter, or valuable items from cleaning areas to allow our staff to perform their duties efficiently and without the risk of damage. We do not handle heavy lifting, and cleaning in areas with excessive clutter may incur additional charges.

c. Pets  

While many of our employees are pet-friendly, we kindly ask that you inform us of any pets before your arrival. All pets should be secured or removed from the areas being cleaned. Please note that for health and insurance reasons, our staff is not responsible for cleaning up animal or human waste, urine, vomit, or other biohazards. Sunflower Cleaning Business is also not liable for any pet-related incidents or accidents. Thank you for your understanding.

d. Hazardous Conditions
Clients must inform the company in advance of any potentially hazardous conditions (e.g., mold, biohazards) that may affect the cleaning process. Additional charges may apply for hazardous cleaning.

2. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
a. Cancellation Policy
We understand that schedules can change; however, we require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for any cancellations. If a client cancels within less than 24 hours of the scheduled cleaning time, a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the scheduled service cost will be applied.

b. Same-Day Cancellations
Cancellations made on the same day of the scheduled service will result in a 100% charge of the service fee. This is to cover the time and resources already allocated to your cleaning.

c. Rescheduling Policy
Clients may reschedule services at no cost if we are notified at least 24 hours in advance. For rescheduling requests made within 24 hours of the appointment, a rescheduling fee of $25 may apply.

d. Skipped Cleanings

Cleaning rates will be adjusted if cleanings are rescheduled or skipped. For skipped cleanings, the rate will be based on the time elapsed between cleanings. For example, if you are a biweekly customer and miss a cleaning, your next cleaning will be charged at the monthly rate, as it will have been a month since the last cleaning.

3. Payment Terms
a. Payment Methods
Sunflower Cleaning Business accepts the following forms of payment:

Payment is due before time of service, unless prior arrangements have been made. If you are not home during the cleaning, please leave payment on the counter. Our cleaners follow a strict schedule, and their time is valuable—thank you for your understanding. Recurring clients can set up automatic payments through a secure payment platform.

b. Late Payments
All payments are due before completion of services unless otherwise agreed upon. If payments are not received within 7 days of service, a late fee of $25 will be applied. Accounts overdue by 30 days will continue to receive a $25 charge monthly until paid in full.

c. Service Deposits
For one-time or deep cleaning services, Sunflower Cleaning Business requires a 50% deposit to secure the appointment. This deposit is non-refundable if the cancellation policy is violated.

d. Refund Policy

Please note that all cleaning services are non-refundable. Once the cleaning service has been completed, payment is considered final. If you are dissatisfied with the service provided, please contact us within 24 hours, and we reserve the right to reclean the area. However, refunds will not be issued. Thank you for your understanding.

4. Liability and Damage Policy
a. Breakage and Damage
Sunflower Cleaning Business takes great care with all items during our services. However, in the event of accidental breakage or damage, clients must report the issue within 24 hours of service. Our liability is limited to the value of $150.00 and will not exceed the total cost of a normal cleaning service provided to you.

b. Insurance
We are fully insured in accordance with California law for general coverage during our services. However, we are not responsible for any damage to valuable or fragile items. Clients are encouraged to notify us of such items in advance so we can take extra precautions, but we do not accept responsibility for any damage to them.

c. Injury Liability
Our cleaning team is fully trained and insured. Sunflower Cleaning Business is not responsible for any injuries occurring on the client’s property, unless directly caused by the services provided by our team.

5. Service Guarantee
a. Satisfaction Guarantee
We guarantee our services. If any part of the cleaning does not meet your expectations, please notify us within 24 hours, and we will return to re-clean the area free of charge.

b. Scope of Services
Our cleaning services cover standard cleaning tasks as outlined in your service agreement. Any requests for additional services (e.g., deep cleaning, window cleaning, appliance cleaning) must be discussed in advance and may result in additional charges.

6. Non-Solicitation of Employees
Clients agree not to directly employ or solicit the services of any Sunflower Cleaning Business employee for separate cleaning services during the term of their service agreement and for a period of 12 months thereafter. Breach of this policy will result in a $2500 penalty.

7. Privacy Policy
Sunflower Cleaning Business values your privacy. We will not share, sell, or distribute your personal information to third parties, except as required by law. We use secure platforms to store client data and protect sensitive information.
